Hi There,

With reference to the topic " Troubleshooting during Lab" and as far as
Proctor Intervention during lab Hrs is concern.... I would like to thank
you for the comments you have provided. Based on your feedback I am
confident that nobody will touch the POD during 8 Hr window....

And for those who still don't believe on us.... Solution is as follows
...
Enable logging and consol will let u know everything the moment Proctor
will type "enable password"

Configurations are as follows..

Stage 1
archive
 log config
  logging enable
  logging size 128
  notify syslog

and if u smell something then ----- lol & Please ensure you take it out
at the end of the LAB if u go for stage 2
stage 2
line vty 0 4
 password cisco
 login
transport input none \\ you know what you are going to do...

I am sure proctor won't kill u there..lol!!

I believe on CCIE level we should know if someone is trying to play with
POD or with your routers...
If anybody is willing to use above mentioned configurations, I won't
take any responsibility... but I have tried in my home Lab environment
and its working as it supposed to be...look at the following lines...

e.g
*Mar 1 00:10:13.983: %PARSER-5-CFGLOG_LOGGEDCMD: User:unknown user
logged command:!exec: enable
R1#
*May 1 12:12:12.003: %SYS-6-CLOCKUPDATE: System clock has been updated
from 00:11:38 UTC Fri Mar 1 2002 to 12:12:12 UTC Thu May 1 2008,
configured from console by vty0 (1.1.1.2).

Regards

I know that people would be 100% sure that they have done the
configuration,
but they still failed this section or Task. Have they considered if they
have done it on the "CORRECT" Device or PORT.

It happened to me twice in the exam, but my reviews captured those.
Also,
for those who use notepad ... I copy and paste configuration and realize
that I can miss the last command in paste because I forget "ENTER" at
the
end. Watch out for own mistakes. You need to know the reason of your
mistakes, not just what the mistakes are when you practice.

If you think the proctor will change your configuration so that you
fail,
this thought itself is a recipe for own failure.

Cheers,
