I am having an issue with an ASA5505 and a Westell 2200 DSL modem. I obviously
have a static IP assigned to the outside VLAN and that is working fine (I can
ping it from the outside, etc.). All translations that and dynamic are moving
inside/out properly, etc. I am not able to use the two devices that are
statically mapped with two available public ips. I am not able to hit anything
from the inside from either of the two internal statically mapped devices and
I am not able to enter from the outside of the firewall to the mapped static
IPs. The statics are one-to-one ip mappings and there is no port-forwarding.
The Modem is in bridged mode. I think I am having ARP issues between the ASA
and the Westell modem. Has anyone else had anything like this happen recently?
The ASA5505 is running 7.2.3.
