Cisco has a customer replacing a 7206 router with a 3800 in Europe. The 7206
had isdn pri e1 used with dialer-interfaces for data purposes. No voip.
I understood from Cisco the 3800 VWIC2-1MFT-T1E1 cant be used for isdn data
application. Is there any documentation on CCO about this? I would have
expected it to work.
Cisco is talking about switching to a NM for the data pri.
So, if the VWIC2-1MFT-T1/E1 doesn't support E1 ISDN PRI, we need to get a
NM-1CE1T1-PRI or NM-2CE1T1-PRI.
I havent seen ISDN data pris in a long time, most customers have switched
to broadband/ipsec for backup links versu isdn pris or bris.
