RE: Finally Pass Voice Lab on first attempt

It's amazing how much one can miss out on, snapping off this list for a
couple of weeks.

There's been ping-ponging of mails across ref: IPExpert or No IPExpert,
Scott or No Scott. But my 2 cents here:

First, congratulations to Singh on passing his lab on his "FIRST"
attempt at "BRUSSELS" ... That's a first class, if not world class
achievement. Not only that he passed the greatest of them all, he did at
the greatest of them all in my own candid opinion (& YES, everyone is
entitled to their own opinions, whether right or wrong, but the end
justifies the means) & he's one of the very few Voice CCIE in the UK
(not sure if they're up to 50 in the UK)

Second, in as much as this list is open and moderated, I don't see any
reason why someone should be banned for voicing their own opinion. I'm
not justifying what he said about IPExpert/Scott, obviously IPExpert
can't please everybody ... It is impossible to please everyone in such a
business. However, Singh should have been more constructive in his
criticism, he should have highlighted which part of the training/support
aspect he wasn't happy with. I don't believe any progressively inspired
organisation can withdraw information off students to deliberately make
them fail on first attempt. I don't believe this is the case when lots
of CCIEs come back to give positive comments on their websites about
their products. Even if they are, the students get to benefit mostly,
because if you can't figure out such technical mistakes, then you're not
yet ready to be a CCIE anyway in my own candid opinion.

Another thing Singh should have done is actually get to speak with
IPExpert and voice his concerns to them before broadcasting it on GS.
That will appear to be more professional I think. But, even Singh
himself has said positive things about Scott, for me, he said "Scott is
a GURU". For me, in the midst of so many geniuses, there are rear GURUs,
and yea, Scott is one of those rear ones. He's very nice and the fact
that he attend to all questions fired at him is beyond me. Simply for
the fact that I can't figure out whether he sleep or not, he seems to be
working round the clock. Except if there is another person paid to reply
his GS mails. I've seen ridiculous emails here, I have even posted some
back in the days ... But Scott is one of the few trainers who responded
to them all. I'm not gonna mention names or slag anyone off, but take my
word for it, you wouldn't find a nicer trainer out there. I'm not saying
IPExpert is the best, because I'm not in the position to do so, but from
my lill spell with Scott, this guy is simply amazing!

To Scott, please don't take any of those comments personal, you know
what you and your team are capable of, you know what you've achieved and
how you've positively impacted uncountable CCIEs in the whole world! You
can't satisfy everyone, you can only do your best, and try to be better
at all you do. You're doing a fantastic job, and I reckon you aren't
even prepared to retire in the foreseeable future.

To Everyone else, CCIE or CCIE-Wannabe, I wish you all the very best out
there.

Many Thanks

Yemi Salau

Hi all,

Paul shoul remove this guy from the list. He uses the abusive words
here.
He does not want to do any more CCIE, but we want to do more CCIEs.
He should be banned from accessing this group list. Paul, Please ban
this
guy.
WE WANT IPEXPERT PRODUCT which is GREAT.

Thanks,
Tom
