In my prep, I've run into some of these, but not all.
(1) CNS agents I have not seen in any of the prep material.
(2) SDM templates I think you need to be familiar with, at least to be
able to boot a switch such that it will act as a dual-stack router.
(3) Macros showed up on at least one of the NetMasterClass.com DOiT
labs. A basic macro is useful as a ping script.
(4) WCCP showed up on at least one of the DOiT labs, and on an
InternetworkExpert.com mock lab. I've been actively working with WCCP
on the job last week and this week.
(5) OER has not shown up in any of my prep material, although it's been
something I've needed to review for work.
I haven't attempted the lab yet, so my opinion is based partly in
ignorance. My plan is to at least be aware of these and similarly less
well-known technologies. I want to be able to identify what a lab task
is likely referring to, and then know where to find that obscure topic
on the Doc CD in case it turns up. However, I'm not going to obsess
about whether or not I've memorized all the commands related to topics
like this.

|Hey guys,
|
|I know that whatever is not specifically listed on the R&S
|blueprint is fair
|game, but what about the following:
|
|CNS Agents
|SDM Templates
|Smartport Macros
|WCCP
|Optimized Edge Routing
|
|And I am sure there are many more...
|
|Are these topics 1) to disregard; 2) to study well and know how to
|configure; 3) to know where to find them on UniverCD
