I'm a little confused as to why the injection of the 2001::/59 didn't function until there was a route map to redistrubute loopback 610-614?
My original idea was to add ipv6 enable on loopback 610-614 and then redistrbute them. That worked fine.
Then I added the summary-address command under the IPv6 process. BUT - with that configured I didn't get any 2001 addresses on R1. Not even the summary.
When I looked at SHOWIT I saw that there was redistribution with a route map. So I took the "ipv6 enable" off the 610-614 loop backs and configured the same route-map. Whalaa! I got the summary route on R1.
Is there any one who understands why I coulnd't get the summary route with the following commands:
interface Loopback611
no ip address
ipv6 address 2001:0:0:7::/64 eui-64
ipv6 enable
ipv6 router ospf 100
log-adjacency-changes
area 56 nssa
summary-prefix 2001::/59
redistribute connected
