Hi:
I am trying to configure pppoe on a router running 12.1 ios but not seeing the
option to enable pppoe under the vpdn group.
Has anyone experienced this?
I am following this url:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_2t/12_2t2/feature/guide/ftpppoec.html#
wp1047663
especially the section where it says: Prior to IOS Rel 12.2 (13) T
It says to enable pppoe you have to first enable vpdn and configure protocol
pppoe under it.
So I downgraded my IOS to 12.1(27)b IP Plus and tried it but I am not seeing
an option to enable pppoe under the vpdn config.
router#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
00:11:00: %SYS-5-CONFIG_I: Configured from console by console
router(config)#vpdn enable
router(config)#vpdn-group 1
router(config-vpdn)#request-dialin
router(config-vpdn-req-in)#protocol ?
l2f Use L2F
l2tp Use L2TP
router(config)#int e0
router(config-if)#pppoe ?
% Unrecognized command
router(config-if)#pppoe
Is there another version below 12.2(13)T that will give me the option.
Thanks.
