Narbik,
I understand. From time to time, I just write idiotic things :). I'll grow
up.
By all mean, when i said i wouldn't take the bootcamps, not because they
don't have values, but simply because I don't think i can afford it on my
own. Money and time! A week off without corporate 's approval is as hard
if not harder than affordability.
Yours is affordable. Others might not. Some let people resit, others
don't. Sorry to have to compare there.
You waste money in life for the most stupid thing like late fees...etc, so I
totally agree that a PROPER boot camp is the best and cheapest investment
for your future.
When i took mine, i wasn't that prepared. I was just a couple months back
into studying. So i got something, not alot. Then comparing it to Class on
Demand, workbooks, I feel like the latter serve you better since you could
always go back and draw on them.
Having said that, when my coworkers ask, I ALWAYS tell them the CCIE boot
camp is the best thing to prepare you to be the best network engineer
possible no matter if you go on to be a CCIE or not.
To sum up, at this point in my preparation, If i have to pay for the boot
camp myself, I would seriously consider taking some, others, less.
