Me too...

I remember dealing with a customer with an FR HnS Router serving over 3
continents, then whenever a remote link goes down, it takes down the
entire FR P2M on th Hub Router.

Because of the criticality of the network, we couldn't schedule a
downtime for checks and balances, then I tried all the several methods
without reloading, wr+default int+int Sx/x+encap frame ... It did work
for mehen 0.0.0.0 kept coming back. Also tried the clear fram inarp, it
didn't work. Even in my past previous mock lab experiences, sometimes it
works, sometimes it wouldn't. So, the 100% guaranteed method of dealing
with incomplete arp process for me is reloading the box. Thank God
you're allowed to do anything with your rack on that day. So, reloading
a box while working on another will save you a bit of time and
headaches, and guess what, you wouldn't get any point deducted for this,
so why not do it the 100% way.

Many Thanks

Yemi Salau

And in some cases...

trust me here..

I've heard clear frame inarp works great...

However, it does not work great for me - so I simply
reload and find constructive use of my time doing
something else in the meantime.

Of course: Be careful with regard to things like OSPF
DR's and such - if it matters to you.
