RE: 'Narbik Kocharians bootcamp feedbak ?

Keep in mind that there are a good number of people out there who only used
the DocCD, the routers/switches and their own warped sense of humor to pass
the lab.

I'm not entirely sure where this thread is going, but one of the big things
people seem to be lacking these days is time. Without the proper time to
study, it's not nearly as readily accessible to pass the lab for many folks.
Bootcamps serve a purpose in this aspect to accelerate and/or compress the
learning curve that people have.

No bootcamp should be the ONLY thing that is necessary to pass the lab. But
many people are looking for an added value in order to supplement the time
they are putting in already such that they can continue to work, or have
family time or whatever it happens to be.

Not everyone has a strong consulting background. Even those that do, many
come from "niched" consulting opportunities and have a very narrow (but
deep) set of knowledge coming in. People come from all sorts of different
backgrounds, but most still have the motivation to learn and soak up any and
all knowledge that they can!

There just happens to be more information available these days than in
previous years.

Come to think of it the CCNA and CCNP exams were a little more straight
forward and a lot of commercial materials were readily available, especially
for these areas.

Hmmm...

The CCIE Written is another under-served area by comparison.

For the CCIE, take away our vendors (who give bootcamps and CCIE Training)
and we are left with...

The DOC CD and a few Cisco Press Books (the ones with practice labs that are
a bit dated).
