If you cheat your way to the CCIE you have earned nothing... it's like
having all the $100 bills in the world, and everyone else is dead... what
good is it?

The moment you come in to work (either full-time or as a consultant) and
burn me or my clients I will call/email every recruiter and consultant in
town and get the word out why they shouldn't hire you...

Learn this now...

Do a great job and impress the sh*t out of someone - they tell 2 people
Piss someone off - they will tell 100's of people.

I don't know how it works over in ASIA, but in the US it's a very small
world. In a city of 25 million people (ny area) I routinely run into many
previous colleagues and associates and people that have heard my name...

There is no shortcut for studying hard and learning the right way.

Eh, at least if you study hard (so you say :) ) and fail, then you could
come in here and cry and get consolation and maybe some nice instructor
somewhere could offer you to take some mock labs for free or let you resit
whatever class you took, yah? Would that make you feel better than getting a
"paper" CCIE? "paper" maybe, CCIE nonetheless!
If i fail, then i might seriously give this thing a thought hehe and worry
about explaining to my wife and kids later :)
