Hi Thomas,
Could have been that the router got stuck while configuring or when that guy rebooted. If you tell the proctor that you cannot access a certain router, he will ping and telnet to verify. If he sees a login screen due to AAA. He might not reboot as it is due to a user error. If you remember this is stated in the lab rules, but then again if the proctor is in a good mood, he might do it.

Hmm, when I did my last lab in Brussels, the guy at the table behind me
asked the proctor to reboot a router, and I guess he did it since he went
into the racks room.
