X As you always say, you'll have to take this with a grain of salt ... as I
haven't got my digits yet.
But much appreciated nevertheless Joseph. And this is an approach that I
happen to agree with. I dont necessarily need any more practice
configuring EtherChannels (I finally nailed that order of operations for
good) and so forth, so reading labs is useful too. Narbiks workbooks are
particularly well suited for this type of study (IMHO this is NOT a
Narbik-approved practice). Having said that, I did my first graded mock lab
yesterday and, as I have known all along, I need to work on speed, which
obviously involves keyboard time.
This brings to mind something I dont know if others do. As I move through
major sections of each lab, I save them to flash as LabX_N.n, with the N.n
being the task number configured, inclusive. That way if I need to go back
and hammer away at just, say, the redistribution task at a later time
(because I was unhappy with my performance and I ALWAYS am wrt to
redistribution), I can just go back and do copy flash:LabX_N.n run and Im
off to the races. Probably everybody does this and Im stating the obvious,
but what the heck
Cheers,
Scott
