HA!
Let's hope Obama comes in and boosts the economy with loads of taxation on
the rich. So far nuttin' much from getting it. Of course I do ask for
$250,000 full time salary.

HAH! That's not expensive my friend, I'd be willing to bet most people on
this list (myself included) wouldn't blink at that, just because it's a
minor drop in the bucket in the grand scheme of getting the CCIE. I
personally have dropped a massive amount of money into this, and risked my
financial situation (as with most people here), but as everyone has told me,
the CCIE pays off in spades after you achieve it...

This is absolutely the most expensive thing I've ever done aside from buying
a house, and I own a fairly nice vehicle, LOL.
Vinod,
Consider doing the first 10 and then making the call for yourself. There
are a few theories out there as to whether you should do a high number of
labs a low number of times or a low number of labs a high number of times.
Probably depends more on you learning style than anything else.

You mean the written?
The "QUAL" comes after 8.5 hours or so with the proctors...
"Cost is also very high"
Not really... failing the lab 3 times, and passing it on the 4th cost me
$17,500 plus $50,000 in lost wages... how high is that?

Hi Folks,
Y'day I passed the CCIE Qual with 94% and now moving on for the LAB. I'm
using DynamipsGUI 2.82 for the preparation.
I was thinking to use 'IEWB-RS-DYN-EL' for my LAB preparations, but didn't
find any feedback. Could you pls. let me know if you are using the same and
if you could share your experience good/bad. URL of the site is attached.

Price: $195 | Part 1 (Labs 1-10)
Price: $195 | Part 2 (Labs 11-20) Release date: January 15, 2008
Cost is also very high. Could you tell me if one set is sufficient 'LAB
1-10' etc.
How can I get the discount vouchers to get some discount.
I'm working with Cisco and will get the account for 'iementor' and the
member of ' http://members.internetworkexpert.com/member/
<http://members.internetworkexpert.com/member/> '. Can anyone help
if I can get the discount voucher to buy these labs.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
vinod
