Hi All

Need your help on calculating minimum burst values for CAR

My task is to limit the traffic entering the network to 1M with minimum
burst value using CAR

As per Cisco documentation, the minimum value is bps divided by 2000

So for my case BC would be; 1000000 / 2000 = 500 bytes (but in IOS starting
BC value from 1500)

Is the above formula is correct? Please confirm.
