i do not see how distance can help you, the distance is a tool to help you
select between alternate path and not to filter routes certainly not LSA.
if you have only one exit point to R4 then it doesn't meter if it is 0 or
255 distance. more to it the distance is locally significant and is not sent
over to other routers.
