Hi, Ranjith,
You can try "debug IP bgp" in your local router. It would show the
remote as number in debug message. Thanks
Regards,
Jerry

Subject: BGP Peer in Wrong AS
Hello Experts,
When trying to peer with an Backbone Router via EBGP on a point to point
link,
I get an error message
"%BGP-3-NOTIFICATION: received from neighbor 55.70.5.254 2/2 (peer in
wrong
AS) 2 bytes 000F"
The decimal value at the end of the notification (000F) is the value of
my AS
which is 15. The Backbone AS is 254
Is there anyway i can find out what AS value been configured on the
BackBone
Router to peer with my router ?
Ranjith
