Yeah - I would agree.
Normally the task objective is to make it clear what you need to do. If
the task failed to do that - it is a great "check with the proctor"
moment. Remember to outline all the options you are thinking of very
specifically to the proctor.
If the proctor responds with a shrug - then pick the one you think Cisco
would be looking for in the grading script.

All I can say is that, even if you have options to solving a task, you
want to verify things with the proctor in the Lab!
There is a techie way of solving a task, there is an architect way of
doing things, and also there is a Cisco Way!
In the real life these things doesn't matter, as long as you design and
provide solutions to problems within resource limit, you're fine. But,
as far as testing is concern, you wouldn't want to take any chances.
