Hi Enyi,

To be honest I do not know a direct way to find out if password is
configure on BB routers or not..

But you can try to setup any password and see the "deb ip bgp" output:

1. No password on BB3 (see the "No MD5 digest " below):

Rack1R1(config-router)#nei 204.12.1.254 password test

Rack1R1(config-router)#
*Apr 4 11:36:05.386: %TCP-6-BADAUTH: No MD5 digest from
204.12.1.254(11951) to 204.12.1.1(179)
*Apr 4 11:36:05.490: %TCP-6-BADAUTH: No MD5 digest from
204.12.1.254(11951) to 204.12.1.1(179)

2. And if you give the wrong password to a BB router which has
password configure ( say BB2) you will get this "Invalid":
*Apr 3 15:54:39.512: %TCP-6-BADAUTH: Invalid MD5 digest from
192.10.1.254(15349) to 192.10.1.4(179)
