Yes, You can.

You'll have to specify an RP manually to them though on each router
pariticipating in Auto-RP. Specially with NBMA-mode.

ip pim rp-address 150.1.2.2 1

access-list 1 permit 224.0.1.39

access-list 1 permit 224.0.1.40

150.1.2.2 would be an IP address reachable and I'd have it enabled
with ip pim sparse-mode "Though I am not sure of that".
