Hello GS Members,
I am bit lost with the parameters to use for redistributing routes into EIGRP.
Cant find any good resource for it. Can anyone help?
The following are my questions
Assuming that we use only use bandwidth and delay Parameter :
K1=10000,K2=1000,K3=255,K4=1,K5=1500
1) Should we change Bandwidth (K1=1) parameter depending on the interface?
If yes should I specify 10,000 for a 10 Mbps link and 100,000
for a 100Mbps link ? I have seen examples where 1544 is used for a serial
interface
Whats the bandwidth for a loopback interface?
2) In a scenario where I have connected routes,static routes, OSPF routes and
EIGRP routes from another AS; redistrubuting into EIGRP, whats the best
practice for choosing the parameters?
2) Do we keep Delay (K2=1) constant at 1000 for all cases?
I hope i have phrased my question right. Awaiting your help on it.
