Subject: Passed in Tokyo yesterday
I just wanted to write a quick note to the group - I passed my CCIE R&S lab
in Tokyo yesterday (Tuesday) on my first attempt, and while I am admittedly
over the moon about it, I wanted to take the time to thank everyone here.
It's not easy studying for months on end, and finding yourself more and more
isolated from family and friends, with evenings and weekends spent on the
books. But knowing that there's a group of people out there who are going
through the same things as you (and who have succeeded!) helped me keep
going - and a lot of the discussions on here inspired me to read more deeply
into areas, lab things up that I wouldn't have thought of on my own, and
find different ways of performing tasks.
So here's to you guys :)
(I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank my partner in crime - the
DocCD. I know it gets said a lot - but honestly, read it from cover to
cover. You won't regret it. Even if it is deathly boring in places.)
