Thats because you have misunderstanding between the physical topology and the logical topology!

Its only one physical topology that i practice on, but every time i can see a different diagram! its looks different but its not!

show cdp neigh is a key.

R1------------------------SW1------------------------SW2---------------R2
----------------------------|---------------------------|
--------------------------- |---------------------------|
----------------------------|---------------------------|
----------------------------|---------------------------|
----------------------------|---------------------------|
----------------------------|---------------------------|
------------------------ -R3--------------------------R4

Hmmmmm, R1, R3 looks directly connected to SW1, and R2, R4 looks directly connected to SW2

Thats true :)

But watch this

R1------------------------SW1----------------SW2------------------R2
R4--------------------------|
-------------------------- |
----------------------------|
----------------------------|
----------------------------|
----------------------------|
----------------------------R3

Looks like we moved R4 and hocked it with SW1 right????

No we did not :)

it looks that way, but we did not do any cabling stuff.

all what we did is created a Vlan, created a trunk between the two Switches (if its not already there) then we went a head and joined the ports that connected those two Routers into this Vlan, now they look like they are directly connected, but they are not!
