Most likely, if you are referring to the router-on-a-stick with/without
Native VLAN's topology. Then I agree, This is not using the standard
topology of IE. As it sows R1, R2, R6 or something all in one switch.

Nothing fancy here. You either configure trunking between 2 switches, or use
different set of routers other than the ones drawn in the topology.

The solution though doesn't reflect that this is an L3 topology. It assumes
that this is also the L2 topology.

If I remember correctly, in some of the CoD's, one of the Brian's (most
likely Brian Dennis) mention that few of Vol I labs are not using the the
standard IE topology.
