Addendum there... I hadn't noticed that an NM-HDV was not on the list.
Natively, any of the 28xx routers support just the PVDM2s.

Are you sure that the PVDM-12 will work in the 2801? For the 2801
he needs a PVDM2 (i.e. PVDM2-16).
