Can it be done?
Well - while technically it is not impossible to setup (e.g. the HQ
router will act as a PSTN router) - I would highly recommend against
it for 1 big reason:
The semi-complexity that will need to be configured in the HQ router
will be quite prohibitive to configuring that router as per the lab
scenario (for a Voice GW or IPIPGW or H323 GK) and making sure that
1) in a way that you don't negatively affect the PSTN config on the
same box or during your studies even possibly think that something is
working based your lab configuration - when in reality a DP for the
PSTN or otherwise allowed some task to work.
It also would make troubleshooting a big headache.
I strongly suggest you get another router to perform the task.
