Hi Julio,

It depends on what type of topology we are talking about, if you are not using
Anycast-RP with MSDP (configuring multiple RPs with the same IP address for
load balancing purposes of the RP) then if you are using different IP
addresses for different routers announcing themselves as RP for the same
groups, wins the one with the highest ip address, the easiest method to
influence which RP will win just place the higher loopbback's ip address on
the preffered RP, then use the loopback as the source of the announce packets
(ip pim send-rp-announce loopback0) for example.
