So Install Dynamips on Windows, although Linux Fedora is very nice OS also
SuSe an Ubentu are nice OS but the CLI is all the same Core Linux only the
GUI and some Apps are differed.

If you want go to YouTube and search Dynamips you will see a 3 part
instruction videos on Dynamps and from my blog you can download the .net
files

If you decide to work with Windows there is a grate guide on
Internetworkexpert.com
