Well that is what this forum is about - hashing out things and figuring out
what the Lab is asking for.

Well back to this real life situation-I have about 100 hosts on it. The
dhcp on the router does the job and if this router goes down then the
network is basically useless otherwise as well. As a side note: this
availability is still within the SLA.

I kinda of thought is was nice to see the "ip conflicts" being logged to the
syslog. I'll have to look at the Cisco univercd to see what the real
problem with doing it this way is.
