That was a good pointer.

So a good method is to run "show spanning-tree inconsistentports"
Switch2#sh spanning-tree inconsistentports

Name Interface Inconsistency
-------------------- ---------------------- ------------------
VLAN0001 GigabitEthernet0/19 Port VLAN ID Mismatch
VLAN0601 GigabitEthernet0/19 Port VLAN ID Mismatch

VTP will also show the remote "native vlan"

Device ID: SUP720
Entry address(es):
  IP address: 10.90.0.1
Platform: cisco CISCO7613, Capabilities: Router Switch IGMP
Interface: GigabitEthernet0/19, Port ID (outgoing port):
GigabitEthernet9/37
Holdtime : 140 sec
