it mostly depends on your initial skills and your learning ability.
I am would start with 1 - 2 hr each day and 4 - 5 months before the Lab I
would step my time to 3 - 4 hr each day.
but most important is also week or two before the exam try to rest as much
as possible and not learn new things as it will be a last minute and I think
will only make you stress.
