I'll second Rik and Joe's comments. We live in a knowledged based society.
Learning should always be a passion of a CCIE.

I never hear an actual CCIE question the value of the certification. It's
always something like 'I heard this from a recruiter/job posting/forum,
etc.'. Well guess what? They're lying. They're used car salesmen.
Corporate HR is only slightly better. Don't listed to the BS. Know your
stuff, prove your value, and the CCIE is icing on the cake.
