There are two things wrong with this ad. The first is that they are using when you got your number as a prerequisite for the job. There are a lot of good ccie's out there with higher numbers for sure and I would bet some not so good ones with lower numbers. This just says they don't have the experience to know the difference. Do you really want to work for a firm like that?
 
The second is that they are paying starvation wages. 125k in nj - not very good pay for the cost of living there....

Check out this job ad - says they prefer CCIE below 15000. I remember
a few years ago they wanted CCIE's below 10000. Next it will be below
20000 - hope I make that threshold!
