I did not pass on my first attempt...nor my second....

In order to pass eventually you really need to attack weak areas! And
these weak areas might not be clearly indicated on your score report
from Cisco.

For example, you might have received a 100% on Multicast in your first
attempt, but it could still be a weak area for you, you just got lucky
in receiving topics you were prepared for.

Be honest with yourself in how strong you are in certain subjects and
attack those that you do not feel 100% in.

Also, you can look to see if there are sections that you can configure
more efficiently and accurately than you have done in the past. I notice
that my students are always either really accurate or really fast. The
key to success in the lab is to practice so that you can achieve both
simultaneously.

Subject: Any Tips on Strategy for Attempt Number 2 ?

All,

Very soon I will be making my attempt number 2 at the Lab exam. I have
been
finding it tricky to maintain my readiness level because I really felt
that
I was ready for this ( technically ) on my first attempt. When I took
the
test and failed, I still feel that I was ready then and sometimes I dont
know why I really failed. This makes it really hard to keep up my
readiness
levels to remain the way I was nearly two months ago because going
through
the CCO or Lab Scenarios I cant escape the feeling of deja vu. This I
know
may hurt me in the end, but then I can not just find a way to keep up my
concentration levels and make sure that next time I go ( which is very
soon
) I have gained something I did not have on my first attempt.

Did you pass on your second attempt ? What did you do in between the
attempts that made the difference ?

Herbert.
