Hi Joseph,

Thanks for the advice!

I know that many of my clients also
reading GS. GS is very famous among many of candidates & CCIEs.

Currently, I
am just doing my studies & till now I have not worried about pay raise,
promotions and etc... I consider CCIE as another highly (May be the highest)
respectable exam in the field. I am in hunger with the knowledge & certifying
them. Pay raise & promotions are side effects of my process. Also the feeling
I was getting, after I have passed these types of exams is really cool. I want
to sense that coolness. My first priority is that. If I am getting happiness
with something; then I like to keep on doing it. Same thing applying to my
studies.

Let's see someone will recruit me for a good salary or fire me from
the current place. Anyway thats life; I have to be ready for anything.
Regards,

Indika (PM)

Peter;

A lot of people read this board
and the posts. I sent an email last week and
it came up with a client.

I
would seriously reconsider your tone and approach to dealing with Scott,
Brian
and the senior training partners in general.

Again Congratulations on
passing the CCIE. I'm sure you can use it to earn
the funds necessary to
purchase any possible materials necessary for future
studies at fair market
value.

Don't be surprised if someone, at some future date that is deciding
whether
or not to hire you, promote you, fire you, or retain you sees
EVERYTHING
posted here, and cached by GoogleStaffel.

Hi Scott,

Thanks again for the explanation!
It seems to be you have two
tongues. You have mentioned something in the GS
with your first email &
later
unicasted something else to me. It seems to be
you have two tongues. Anyway
now its cleared.

Also, I think odd bird is
under your pants; so go & find
it!!! Just kidding.

I am just focusing my
studies as you are careering
about your family. Lets forget about this mess &
help our GS members for
their studies. I need your advices even after this
crazy email exchange.

So
lets start new relationship.!!!

What?!!?!? You're an odd bird Peter... When you sent that message about letting "down your courage" I replied to you personally in order to keep some of the fluff off of GS not to hide anything. My response (within an hour of your post accusing me of doing that) was "I wouldn't ever mean to let down your courage at all. Just trying to let others know that its not just about posting a message that gets someone free stuff." So if I've somehow offended you, I apologize, but that wasn't the intent by any stretch. *shrug*

Hi Ajay,

I am really sorry about your mis-understanding. Scott tried to let down my courage by mentioning a background thing, here in GS. He has not apologized for it in GS. That is the reason, I have challenged him. I dont want to give him a chance to let down my courage. If Scoot like, then he can explain what he has mean.

Also I have not requested any free stuff for me; I am just trying to give it to others in GS by as by side of the challenge.

Anyway Scott has not accepted it.

Peter, if you have something against Scott or if you wish to challenge him or whatever, please take it offline. Groupstudy is not for challenging anyone and neither do we want any free stuff for anyone. You never get the value out of stuff that you get for free. What you did to Brian once (by posting in GS), you are doing the same to Scott now.. It looks like you want free Voice material from Scott in return as you got free R&S material from Brian.

I and all members of groupstudy respect Scott, Brians and Narbick for their valuable contribution here on groupstudy. I request you to keep all personal agenda away from here please.

Ajay

Hi Scott,

I still havent booked a lab dateI was waiting for your response to find a LAB date.

But dont tell me that you have not taken the challenge because you are busy. I think, I am busy as you or Wayne. May be busier than you & him. Because we all have same limited time per day or week. So it is just a functional difference.

Also, based on my understanding you are working as a CCIE instructor, Content developer & Consultant. So you always have educational touch & playing with Cisco equipments. In addition to that keep in mind that you are Quadruple CCIE. Why dont you like to be a Penta CCIE?

One more important thing to highlight here; it may be valuable for others. With our Cisco voice implementations we are implementing best practices. But CCIE exam is not an implementation/configuration exam of best practices. It may or may not include best practices. Therefore even if you have worked in the field for 10 years then you may not have enough confidence to pass the LAB. If we need to pass the LAB without much hassle we have to directly target to the exam.

Scott, I know you are talented gentlemen; so please dont hide behind your boss (Wayne)! Come out & take my challenge . it may be good for your future!

I am really sorry that, if I am troubling you with this challenge; but try your best to accept it.

Rdgs,

PM

hehehhe... You make it sound so quaint and black & white. :)

Now, multi-millionaire or not, I'm sure you (or anyone) could agree that one person who works with voice stuff every single day may very well have an advantage over someone who doesn't, no matter how smart the other person is.... But that's ok.

I'm sure there are others out there who may be interested in taking your challenge, perhaps those underprepared but with more free time on their hands, or simply those who may have more recent hands-on/in-depth experience in order to compete with a "full-time Cisco Voice engineer".

There are ways to get products without investing money, but it typically involves some value-add proposition for both sides. Other than bragging rights, and just personal challenge, I have no need to get my Voice CCIE (it's pissed me off enough ruining my average!) but I'm sure you can find others up to your challenge with a more vested interest, or business necessity to get their CCIE. Generally, relationships start at the proper point in any business and progress from there. I'm thinking that targeting the CEO of any company, unless that person is more directly involved in the CCIE stuff, would not be the best place to start unless there was some win-win that could be had. So Darth, if your (or anyone else's) target is finding a way to work for products then we can always work on coming up with something of value.

So Peter, when's your lab date?

Hi Guys,

This is to inform you that; Scott is not in a position to accept my challenge since his boss (Wayne Lawson President-IPExpert Inc. ) contacted me & updated me that, he has not authorized to use his products (IPExpert) for this challenge. Also he confirmed that, Scott is not a Multi-Millionaire. I read little bit about Wayne & his activities. I found following URL from google. http://www.ipexpert.com/?event=staff&staffid=8769

Then I was thinking to challenge him rather than challenging Scott since he has the CCIE & he has the power to give us the free access. But he is a big shot & may be busy gentlemen with his business.

So guys, you will not be able to get free access for IPExpert products. If this goes fine then I would have win it; because I am a full-time Cisco Voice engineer.

Darth, it may be better if you write to Wayne rather than troubling Scott. Because Wayne may be the correct gentlemen, who has the power to give a free copy of their SP WB. Finally, I have to forget about the challenge & start my studies alone. I will update you time to time with my Voice studies. But I guess there is a different GS group for Voice. Lets check it outI hope, I can get my Voice baby in less than four (4) attempts....

Whoa!

Scott probably actually a multi-millionaire, given the lab that requires a permit from his local power plant to drain that much power... But he is not the richest CCIE. That is Tom Cruise, the actor, and number 3 ranking member of Scientology. He is worth approx $800M USD and he is a CCIE, or so I heard... for real... I heard he chose it as one of his challenges to reach OT VII. -----Original Message----- From: nobody@groupstudy.com [mailto:nobody@groupstudy.com] On Behalf Of peter morgan Sent: Friday, September 14, 2007 8:07 PM To: smorris@ipexpert.com; darth router Cc: ccie784; ccielab@groupstudy.com Subject: Re: Tough Achievement (CCIE # 18807)

Hi Scott,

I know you are a multi millionaire & one of Quadruple CCIEs. And I am a small fish who has got the number in my fourth attempt. Here is my challenge; You dont have voice in your bunch of sticks. I am starting voice from today onwards. If I get my Voice before you get it then you have to give free access to all of your products (IPExpert), to ten (10) of our GS members. If you get the Voice before I get it then I will buy your Voice product (Considering I am a poor guy & you are a multimillionaire).

Do you accept my challenge?

If you accept it then both us will get benefits by completing Voice & hopefully ten (10) of our GS members..

Have a nice week end,

No Man! It is a joke...

Brian, Scott think about to give free access or better discounts to all of GS members (including DR & me) May be your gentlemen will have close IE & IPexpert becuase most of CCIE candidates are GS members.

I think Brain already given it to me. So I may be out of selection...I am waiting till IE voice products release....
