Basically, to me, the difference is to save bandwidth.

For instance, you have a frame-relay multipoint subinterface, but you only
need some of dlcis to form OSPF neighbors, then you use P2M nonbroadcast with
neighbor commands under ospf process. Of course, if all dlcis will form OSPF
