Are you going to the terminal server and then hopping off of it? I do nat on
my terminal server so that I can telnet directly to the routers serial port
by name, but still everything runs smoothly. I have a 2621 with the NM-32A.
I use this configuration for getting to my Linux, Sun Solaris, Cisco, UPS,
and PDU's without any issues. I have a modem on the Terminal Server as well.
