That is EXACTLY what happens to most people!
You might be just running out of steam at that point.
I had configurations saved that I could just slap on the equipment in
the AM that would have full connectivity configured - then I would just
hammer away all day on the non-core topics.
When you get recommendations from the Super-CCIEs on this site to LAB IT
UP and play with it - they are not being trite - it really works!
So, with a tough QoS topic like Traffic Shaping, you read, read, read -
and then LAB IT UP! Sometimes you might have to then read some more, but
at some point, you have it mastered sufficiently for the lab for sure.

Thanks Joseph and Anthony for your suggestion. the problem i am having
is as soon as i finish BGP section, i loose interest in practise lab and
probably not doing enough practise on these SECTIONS. I need to overcome
on this problem , not sure if anyone else had this problem.

Well - you obviously need to focus your study in these areas while just
periodically refreshing on the other stuff - here are some suggestions:
1 - Get with a vendor from this list and acquire as many of their
workbooks as you can afford - spend time with each lab, but only the
sections that you are weak on.
2 - Spend as much time as you can in the DOC-CD for those weak areas.
3 - Ask members of GroupStudy for reading list recommendations for areas
you just do not understand after doing the above. For example, I really
struggled with Multicast (a true understanding), until I discovered
Routing TCP/IP Volume II from Doyle and Carroll.
4 - Use GroupStudy to answer questions you still do not understand after
all of the above.
