What IOS version are you using?
Have experienced the exact same scenario, with pvdmI as well, and it turned out to be an IOS version issue.
Once we moved from 12.4(3)a to 12.4(5)b, it started to work.

I dont think your transcoder is really registered to your CCME at site 2-
"show sdspfarm units" will confirm.
Don't forget there are three commands you need inside telephony-service
before doing ANYTHING else- "ip source-address", "max-ephone" and "max-dn".

Two sites, site 1 is using callmanger while site 2 is using cme with cue,
all connection is through WAN link. I have made a xcode at site 2 cme, so
that site 1 can leave voicemail for site 2 phones.
However, I cannot leave vm, but the the is already forward to cue and there
is no sound from cue aa. The CUE pilot is 8888, I try to dial 8888 from site
1, it shows connected but no sound play.
Anyone help?
