Hi guys,
I am doing a task from IEWB that says that:
There are a few hosts in a network segment that have its own IP addresses
instead of R6 configured as default-gateway, configure R6 and R2 to support
this hosts.
The network eschema is like that:
R6 R2
.6 | Interface f0/0.26 .2 | Interface f0/0.26
| |
----------------------------------------------------------
I have configured IP proxy arp on interface f0/0.26 on R6, so R6 replies the
ARPs for other netorks destination.
But the IEWB solution does exactly the opposite, ussing the "no ip proxy-arp"
on both R2 and R6 interfaces. Do you know why they did that ?
Thanks in advance,
Julio.
