Yeah, which is a retarded answer IMHO. I understand the rebranding, but on
the other hand, I'd be willing to bet that there's enough people who would
want to get this that someone could recast the old medallions with Cisco's
new logo and therefore in compliance with brand awareness....
But why take the simple path? There would be no fun in that.

No. Cisco Systems was rebranded "Cisco" in early calendar year 2007 and
released a new corporate logo. The old version of the CCIE plaque contains
Cisco's old logo, which is out of corporate branding compliance. Cisco is no
longer selling or issuing the old-style plaques.
