Multicast stub routing

Hello,

I understand how to configure IGMP stub routing. My question is when
you configure an IGMP join on the stub router should you receive a
response from another router if its acting as your mc server (assuming
of course that your other multicast parameters are setup correctly).
Alternatively do i just need to know what the correct config
parameters are and take that things are working on faith?
