First things first, make sure you use vtp transparent mode unless
otherwise specified.
Server/client mode will just blast the same vlans to all the switches.
Secondly, draw out a layer 2 diagram noting which devices are in which
vlans and the switches they are connected to. Only configure the vlans
on the switches they connect to (and any transit switch as well).
