I configured ospf between a vlan interface and a router. The config is listed below. after the configuration i was getting this error message:
" 01:25:25: %OSPF-5-ADJCHG: Process 1, Nbr 150.1.5.5 on Vlan58 from DOWN to DOWN, Neighbor Down: Ignore timer expired "
i did sh int vlan58 and found out the MTU was 1504. i changed the MTU to 1500 and the error no longer appear. can someone explain why the MTU was set to 1504 when i created the vlan ? this is the first time i see this kind of problem.
