Hi expert,

There was two thread on dot1x guest-vlan related to IOS version recently posted. I read them and there was some uncertainty.

1) according to docCD, 'dot1x guest-vlan supplicant' is not longer supported in IOS 12.2(25)SEE or later. And I found this command is hidden and can be entered into running config. Can someone advise this command still funtional in thus IOS release? According to Mike Kraus, it is still functional. Any comments?

2) Another uncertainty come into mind is that, without the above command, we have to use restricted vlan for failed authentication client. But according to docCD, restricted vlan is only supported for single host mode. How can I upgrade to the latest IOS where I have to support some ports with failed authenticate client in multiple host mode?

regards
