I did not use aliases to pass the lab. I figured that it doesn't save you
any time when you consider the time that you spend configuring them on the
devices and removing them at the end of the day. I also got used to using
the IOS keyboard shortcuts and typing the fewest characters as possible to
enter a command. Those tricks will benefit you more in the real world as
well.
