You guys quit player hating on alias users. :P Hate the game! Hate the game!

It can save you time and stress on your hands. If you type fast, so what,
now you type even faster with aliases. I do not know how often I have to
type show ip int br or, show run int. I do those obsessively to check and
double check, and check again my interfaces. I only use them for lab
practice. Yea, the shortcuts are easy, but the one character shortcut alias
is even easier :P I would say hitting one key, verses many is faster. I
think we can all conclude that is fact. I type really damn fast, and
sometimes screw up my syntax when I cannot tab out a command. Using "do"
with a few common aliases helps me out a lot for speed. Of course I think it
is a huge waste of time building aliases for bgp commands, ipv6, etc..
Chances are you will only use those commands a few times, while you might
use the show commands hundreds of times.
