Hi experts ,

  A basic queery

Please help me coz had put earlier also but no reply ----

If there are two switces A and B

  R1----(vlan 2)-SWITCH-A fa1/1=======TRUNK==========fa2/2 SWITCH-B-vlan 200--R2

  1)SWITCH-A has vlan 2

  2) SWITCH-B has vlan 200

  3) SWITCH-A and SWITCH-B in VTP DOMAIN TEST

If I want them to speak to each other

  4) on SWITCH-A configured
  A fa1/1
  swictport trunk native vlan 2

  on SWITCH-A configured
  B fa2/2
  swictport trunk native vlan 200

  5) disabled CDP on TRUNK AND SPANNING TREE FOR THESE VLANS

  NOW Q IS --------------------

  6) VTP PRUNNING enabled ---

SWITCH-B has VLAN 200 active and applied to an access interface
so it tells SWITCH-A not prune it

  and

SWITCH-A has VLAN 2 active and applied to an access interface
so it tells SWITCH-B not prune it

  ACTUALL ISSUE --------------------

  7) But SWITCH-B has no vlan 2 so will switch SWITCH-A prune on trunk its own vlan
(VLAN 2) on trunk and similarly SWITCH-A has no vlan 200 so will switch SWITCH-B prune on trunk its own vlan (VLAN 200 ) on trunk

and connectivity BROKEN due to this ??????????

  Please help

  :) Thanks in advance
