Hello All, could someone please confirm what the metric of a locally
configured summary route would be based on. For eg: Say if I have a loopback
interface in the x.x.3.0/24 range and I am also receiving routes via eigrp
x.x.0.0 /24, x.x.1.0/24, x.x.2.0/24 I see that the metric is a bit
different. Won't the eigrp metric be calculated based on the loopback
interface since it should have the lowest metric as its a local interface.
So if the bandwidth on the loopback interface is 8000000 and the delay is
configured on the loopback interface as 5 how come when doing a show ip
eigrp topology for 1.1.0.0 255.255.252.0 route I see that the minimum
bandwidth is 10000000. Its completely changing the metric and I can't seem
to tell why its seeing the bandwidth as 10000000. Thanks for your help.
