what do you mean "making a spanning tree port in forwarding mode "?

the only decision making for spanning tree is spanning tree protocol, you
can influence span tree decision by changing costs and priority's or setting
different job for a port (like root ) but etherchannel as it self is not
making spanning tree port in fwd mode.
